help pick songs for the CD release party

The CD release party for “The Cycle We’re Living In” is less that two weeks away and we’re working to make the show a really fun night. Of course we’ll be playing most (if not all) of the songs off the new album, but we also wanted to throw in some old favorites. So here’s the deal…if there’s an old FE song that you’d like to hear us perform at the CD release party drop us a note in the comments section of this blog and let us know.

**Note**
Extra points go to people who don’t write obvious songs that we play all the time (i.e. Untied, 3 or 4 miles, Guitar Song).

Guys. I literally JUST ordered this:
    http://www.fender.com/products//search.php?partno=0110502712

So please hit up Brand New Guitar (I know it’s an obvious one, but it’d be too perfect).

Aside from that, I’d have to echo NYC, Roberta’s House, Bad News, and any James Brown cover.

Gotta cover superstition! You guys rock that. Plus anything the bass player slaps too, specifically that sweet duet with his brother on the drums. I love watching them jam. As for your tunes, I’d be content with all of them, but:

    Miss Match

    Bad News (Please)

Doin’ Our Thing…I’ve never seen you guys do this live, It’s So Good!

Lastly, Criminal Behavior (I feel like I’ve been robbed…no fe for a while)

I so wish I could be there…but you all know how it goes when you don’t have the money to travel and can’t really take the time off from work. But, hey…it is only a month until you are here in The Rock!!! And when you come here you will definately have to do Roberta’s House because I am hoping we can get her to the show!!!

well, I won’t be there. but if I was going to be, I’d want to hear you sing track 8 from the old demonstrations album. you know, the “sugar, sugar” song. still one of the greatest…

or “you know.” my iTunes has been picking that one recently, and it’s becoming a regular.
