A Day In the Lives of 5 Fundies Undies:

Hi Guys! Fundies Undies here. Us wives/girlfriend have enjoyed being able to see a detailed account of all that our boys have been doing this week. We thought that you all might enjoy seeing what things look like here when we attempt man the home front on our own. Actually, the boys don’t even know that we are posting this. We’re sure that they are sleeping soundly right now on their couches and air mattresses and when they wake up in a few hours they will be surprised to see that we have hacked into their blog.
Anyway, enjoy our day :)

4:15am Jessica escorts Ava back to bed for the third time because an empty spot in Mommy’s bed is not an open invitation.

4:57am Elisa wakes up to the sound of sleet.

6:15am Elisa’s work calls to say school is closed. Tries to go back to sleep but can’t so she puts in Grey’s Anatomy in and watches that till about 10:30.

7:00am Jessica turns on Curious George and plops back into bed for 30 more precious minutes of shut eye.

9:00am Sheri is off to Jo’s Java to grab a cup of Jo!

9:02am Sheri get a call from her rock star husband (Luke) informing her of their progress recording in Nashville, TN.

9:12am Sheri get’s a cup of Jo and realizes the background music is none other then the Fundamental Elements!!

9:34am Katie clips Eliot’s nails while singing “Asking Myself” to him.

10:30am Ava is elbow deep in finger paints and working her moves around her art easel singing “Cryin’ Shame”.

10: 50am Kelli “quizzes” Elle on the names on all the FE guys & what instruments they play. Elle continues to refer to Luke as, “MY Luke!”

11:00am Sheri downloads the rough draft of “Asking Myself” and is now dancing around the kitchen singing the words!

11:10am Watched Fundamental Elements Confession Video and was surprised to see the Fundies Undies Picture on a billboard with ESPN written on their stomach’s!!

11:14am Katie checks online for dresses to wear to the Grammys.

12:00pm Ava asks if Daddy (Dustin) wants grilled cheese or just cheese on bread; Jessica tells her he’s not coming home for lunch; she says he must be working late and will still kiss her goodnight once she’s asleep.

12:04pm Fan myspaces Sheri to ask her where the Fundamental Elements Highland, IL show is.

12:15pm Katie takes advantage of Russ in Nashville and a sleeping baby and watches a chick flick.

12:30pm Elisa helps makes some fudge and watches a movie.

12:31 Sheri ate an amazing grilled honey ham and coby jack sandwich on 100% wheat bread(FRESHLY MADE) with a side of SunChips.

1:10pm Sheri comes up with choreography for FE’s next show.

1:30pm Jessica reads Ava a story and tucks her in for a nap. Ava prays for Daddy (Dustin) and his band…and for ketchup in their sleep.

2:47pm Kelli heads outside to shovel the driveway despite the fact that she has strep throat.

2:48pm Katie realizes she’s out of wipes as she stares at a dirty diaper only to remember that she’s snowed in.

3:00pm Sheri watches the snow fall.

3:15pm Kelli collapses on the couch, but the driveway is cleared.

4:00pm Jessica is cutting onions for a lasagna…for two.

4:06pm Katie got several love letters over email from Russ and upon opening them discovered they were announcements about some blogthing…

4:23pm Katie realizes she hasn’t brushed her teeth yet and promptly does so.

5:22pm Elisa misses Mark!! :…(

5:31pm Kelli test drives several new car options, Joe promised to buy her a Land Rover when he wins a Grammy since she has been so supportive of his music. Ok, not really but she did change 3 poopy diapers today!

5:45pm Ava hops down from her chair before getting cleaned up after dinner and says that Daddy (Dustin) sometimes asks her to get down and come to the sink. Jessica tell her that when Mommy is in charge, we do it her way…the best way.

7:00pm Katie watched American Idol with Eliot and brainstormed about how to include David Archuleta on the new album

7:30pm Katie gets a call from Russ while the boys are out for greek food. Makes one wonder how greek food one night and mexican another helps efficiency in the studio?

8:00pm Sheri puts Ty to bed and pray for Daddy (Luke) and all of the Fundamental Elements.

9:00pm Katie stares at the full recycling bins covered in snow and wished Russ was home tonight to take them to the street.

9:12pm Kelli gets a text from Joe informing her that they re-edited the confessional video. Thanks babe!

9:20pm Kelli dreads the next FE show where the other Fundies Undies will force her to do the new dance moves.

9:36pm Katie prayed for Rachel and her house…

10:47pm Jessica arrives home to find a flooded basement. Spends 3+ hours cleaning the makeshift wading pool in her basement while Ava swims in circles around her.

11:45 pm Jessica’s barely hanging on to get that call from Dustin…and once it comes, 2 minutes pass…but that is all she needs; she tells him to meet her, same time, same place…in la la land.
